First of many

Ok, so here goes! 

I've been wanting to start my own blog since I was pregnant with my little boy, sat at home on maternity leave gives you a lot of time. So with the extra time I had, I decided to find something 'productive' to do. Whether or not reading many beauty/fashion blogs was productive is completely down to personal opinion- definitely wasn't a good thing for my bank balance let me tell you. 

Anyway I am completely rambling- the plus side of being on maternity leave, apart from the fact that I gave birth to my gorgeous son Jacob (I'm sure you will hear a lot more about the little monster in future posts) was that I had a lot of time to read my favourite blogs and catch up on my favourite Youtubers. Now finally I have plucked up the courage to start writing my own! 

So basically I wanted this first post to be a little bit of a get to know me post, so let me tell you a bit about myself; 

My name is Robyn.
I am twenty-two years old.
Like I said earlier I have a beautiful/cheeky 3 year old son called Jacob who I love more than words can describe.
I work in London in the construction industry but my passion will always be in beauty and fashion so hopefully one day I can move into a career with some kind of relevance to that.

My aim from this blog is to have some kind of release from day to day life and hopefully find people with the same interests as me so I don't sound like a weirdo when I ramble on about certain things with people who aren't interested as much as I am.

So there you have it, there's a few things about me! 

I'm not going to promise a certain amount of blogs a week as I don't want it to become a chore, but I will definitely be blogging at least once a week and if there's more then that's a bonus I suppose :)
